SBM Shouts - #junglememories

December 2011 heralds the emergence of some heavy nostalgia conversation for the Jungle/Drum and Bass communitee.  God knows where it all started but regardless #junglememories has been born.  It began on Twitter but the spread is now apparent on Facebook and Soundcloud, this conversation is a treasure trove of information, gifted from the fans and the players themselves.

#junglememories span across a 20 year period with each tweet and comment demonstrating the special place that Drum and Bass has in the hearts of many.  #junglememories range from a particular Track, DJ or Club Night to a more personal memory or experience, demonstrating the level of impact this global genre has on the lives it touches.  Quite a few in there about DJ Rap, understandable.

Here’s just a few for store before Twitter deletes them from their sphere…

“RT @djprofile: #junglememories looking @djrap bum while she was djing at Roller Express!!! I used to do that at club UN. Snap.” @djchef
